Scouts - Snowshine Bradley Wood

Snowshine 2014 was held at Bradley Wood Scout camp in Yorkshire. Amongst the activities were, shooting, archery, climbing, crate stacking and an interesting new addition called “THE CAVE BUS”. This was an old single decker bus converted by the site into a system of darkened runs (like a cave!) which the scouts crawled through on three levels! All said it was a fantastic change from the cresta run, which was unserviceable.
Food was catered over the whole weekend by former scouts Mike Wells & Jim Potts, the latter who was also a former scout leader at 3HG. A lot of the scouts on the camp have gained their adventure challenge award because of the varied activities done on this camp combined with the hiking done on winter weekend.
