Summer Camp 2012 was held at Fordell Firs National Activity Centre in Inverkeithing, Scotland. Summer camp this year was slightly different as the camp was open to Cubs from both packs and also the Scouts who were not able to go to Switzerland. The Cubs travelled by train while the Scouts travelled by minibus.
On Monday we went to Edinburgh Zoo, home to the only pair of giant pandas in the UK.
Tuesday was spent on site, with activities including Jacobs ladder, king swing and pedal cars.
On Wednesday we had a full day out in Edinburgh where we visited the castle, The Edinburgh Dungeon and went on an open top bus tour.
On Thursday we visited the Scottish deer centre, the beach, then went for fish & chips at Anstruther.
Due to rather inclement weather on Friday, some of the site activities were not possible, so a visit to the cinema in the morning kept people dry, until the afternoon when everyone got wet exploring a caving system!
