Activity Write Ups - 2006 - Troop Training Camp

We always chose the best weekends to go camping at 3hg, this one was no different. Thunder, lightning, a torrential down pour and that was just Friday night whilst we put the tents up. Saturday was much better though, freezing cold with hail and showery bursts of rain.
Saturday's programme consisted of axe work and fire-lighting, with both lunch and tea cooked on fires. Sunday was similar with the main focus on trying to get the tents down dry, we failed!
