The FRIENDS aim to provide opportunities for community members to improve and promote the facilities of Torkington Park to make the park a welcoming, safe and enjoyable environment for all.

Volunteers Morning Monday May 8th Come along to our volunteers morning on Mon May 8th 2023, from 10am to 12noon. Help us build bird and bat boxes to put up in the park. There will also be a litter pick around the park. Children are welcome and must be accompanied by parents/guardians etc. All equipment/tools are provided. Meet at the Bowling/Community Hut to start. Usually the first Saturday of the month 10am to 12 noon

3HG have helped in recent years with local charities and any involvement has been fun and worthwhile..!
Task Days are regular opportunities for willing volunteers from 3HG to do their bit for the community e.g. refresh woodchip paths, plant trees, clear Himalayan balsam, coppicing, etc.
Let's have a good turn out - starting March 4th!

Further task days planned for (March 4th), April 1st, May 8th, June 3rd, July 1st, Aug 5th, Sept 2nd, Oct 7th, Nov 4th.

Free entry.... All proceeds will go to the Norbury Church
